Happy New Hair Day

Rubbish nights sleep blah blah … found my comfy spot about 6am blah blah slept until about 10:00am… but nobody cares about that, it’s new hair day!!! 🥳✂️💆‍♀️

Pain killers, beakfast, Up, dressed, ouch, knock knock … delivery …

This gadget was spotted by Cousin Kerry (😂 we know multiple Kerry’s so in sibling circles she is cousin Kerry, even my nephew calls her that now!) Basically this gadget will allow me to sit in a chair by a sink and put my head back slightly, no other effort on my part needed. No bending or stretching or anything more than sitting. There are about a million situations this would be helpful in!

If I had ordered it when Kerry suggested I did, It would have been here a day earlier but … naps 🤷‍♀️

We were hoping it would come today and at a reasonable time so that Kerry could come and make me look like a movie star 🎥🍿⭐️ The question was just whether that movie star was Bruce Willis or not!

I actually shared the tracking information with her so she knew it had been delivered before I did 😂. I was literally opening the box and Kerry was messaging …

Kerry arrives at 16:15ish as I am stood outside the front talking to Uncle Mark, Cousin James and his boy little Ryan. They are just about to walk Marks horse dog, Shadow in the field by where we live. Shadow is a beautiful beast! Could easily eat my Cassie dog as a snack … if he could catch her 😂

Kerry comes in and has a gander at the hair for the first time in real life. She has seen photos etc that I have sent but this is the first real life sighting …

Surprisingly her optimism remains and she suggests a good wash and a treatment and then see where we stand.

Here comes the gadget …

Hair washed and now Kerry wants to talk … she wants to talk through my options and what she thinks I should do. I however do not 😂 I explain that my expectation is low, I am still half expecting a head shave so anything that leaves me with more hair than this is a win so crack on and do what you think is best! ✂️

But first … the dead hair has got to go!

As much as I want nothing to do with the how to salvage the wreckage of my hair conversation … I am down for taking a pair of scissors and cutting it off 🤣✂️

Kerry continues to chatter away about what she is doing but I am not really listening 🤣 I trust this chick plus we are connected by blood, she is tied to me forever 😂 I am relaxed, she will do everything she can!

Kerry finishes cutting and does one last rinse to be rid of the last of the dead hair.

Sigh of relief … that looks a lot bloody better ❤️

Funnily enough, even though much thinner, this is not too dissimilar to the style we were looking at around Christmas time but I decided to keep my hair long until the summer 🤣

Well now the universe has spoken!

Food diary, Dinner, Auntie Jackie comes to visit, watches Lethal Weapon 4 and then bed.
