What a difference a week makes …

It’s been a week of a lot of firsts –

First time being around a lot of people, inc people I have not seen since before I got ill. Anxiety at an all time high but I was determined to make it happen and attend the funeral of one of the loveliest men ever ❤️

*Oh and I was casually asked … ‘I heard you saw the light’ which has had me laughing since 🤣 I might print it on a T-Shirt – ‘I have seen the light!’

First HepB vaccine – one more jab to go next week and I can’t start Crohn’s treatment 💪💪

First time back into the office … a fleeting visit, accidentally prompted by my colleague Miranda 🥰 Miranda did not realise she needed to be in the office for filming that afternoon (poor communication on my part) but she was actually glad because she didn’t have time to build it up into a ‘thing’ in her head (clearly my plan!)… as she was saying this, I was thinking – that’s is a very good point, and next thing I know I was saying see you there! 🤣

First time back on the motorway on the way to the office – an Oasis playlist kept me company!

I got to the office and how quickly everything feels normal … hopefully in the next few weeks I will be given the green light to start going in and building back up to normal!

The first time seeing many colleagues since May for most. So that was really lovely 🥰 I managed about an hour and a half before tiredness started to creep in and I made my exit before the desire to have a nap at my desk overwhelmed me!

Oh and the first time I’ve bleached my hair blonde and then dyed it pink! 🤣

… so far the world made me shave my head, get a tattoo and now dye my hair pink … I think I just need to buy a camper van and that will be my transformation complete! 🎉
