I have been absolutely overwhelmed with the kindness that I have received since being in the hospital.
Each and every person who has messaged me, called me, visited me, sent me cards, sent me gifts, sent me their best wishes, sent me prayers and have continued to keep me in their thoughts throughout unquestionably the most difficult time of my life – you have made such a difference to me!
I will be in touch with you individually as a paragraph in a blog will never be enough to express the gratitude that I have and the love that I have for you all. Every message, every conversation has touched my heart and given me strength. Thank you ❤️

Also a huge thank you for the feedback I have received on this blog. It has meant a great amount. It is for me to vent and for anyone who wants to understand what is going on in my world. To older friends and new, if you have any comments or want to reach out please do.
I am surrounded by some very beautiful people. I will never forget what each and everyone of you have done for me during these weeks.
I also have to thank the new friends that I have made along the way, specifically my fellow inmates patients 🥰 Little get well soon waves to Helen, Rosalind, Liz, Donna and Febi to name a few ❤️
And of course the incredible #NHS staff again to name just a few –
- Efa and Veda from ITU
- Shirley, Lara, Karen, Nell, Kazia and Dr Sian, Eleanor, Dani, Monika … a few stand outs from the ward.
Power up
I remember getting Super Mario on the Nintendo with Louise when we were kids and if you remember the little noise you would hear when you found a mushroom and Mario ‘powered up’ and grew that tiny bit bigger and stronger, only temporarily but it always helped in some way …

This is how your kindness has been working for me 🤣 Your kindness has given me the little power boosts I have needed along the way.
